   Wow, missing since 2004. I’m sorry for the family. Did they try hiring a private investigator to help look for him. I know from experience that they’re very good at locating people when I had my grandpa vanish on me a few years ago. Good luck and hope for the best.

     We did not. Yunnan Province is more for those few who are accomplished in Mandarin with experience working among indigenous people of the area such as Tibetan, Yi, and Naxi. This is the wild west of China!. Thanks for you concern.

   Oh ok I see. It would be a very difficult search because it being mostly rural places…wild west of China as you called it. Urban and rural searches are totally different when dealing with finding someone…

   any updates on Dave? started thinking about him all of a sudden. i saw him in beijing right before he left for yunnan, and remember seeing george right after they separated.

     The family has been working with a Washington D. C. based group HRNC, Human Rights in North Korea. They have recently printed a report entitled TAKEN: North Korea’s Criminal Abduction of Citizens of Other Countries. A link to their report in pdf format is http://www.hrnk.org/taken.pdf .
